Emporio Sushi y Mariscos

The adverting is great, but that doesn't translate to good food. Yesterday I ordered the sarandio Plater the presentation was great! Sadly, the only good thing on that plater was the pulpo and fish filet. The oysters were past it's eat by date! They actually smelled and tasted even worse. Sushi roll chon was regular. Too much rice, bland flavor. The Mar y tierra burritos was probably the best thing we had at emperio sushi and mariscos. The wait staff was very slow and didn't offer anything but flower chips, horrible. 1 napkin per person, no types of salsas like at least tapatio or cholula. So all in all, I was very disappointed, horrible restaurant.

The food was delicious and the service was very nice. The place is very cozy.

We stopped by for a quick lunch, it wasn't too busy, and our order was taken quickly. Our server brought us fried wonton chips with dipping sauce which were really good. I had the Tiger roll and my friend had the shrimp burrito. Everything was fresh and delicious. I really liked the house sauce which was a citrusy soy sauce. My only complaint, they only had canned beverages.

Came in today to give this place a try, instagram makes it seem very appetizing, Let's start with the menu,it has a variety of seafood,tacos and sushi rolls, and beverages. Moving onto the food and drinks ,we ordered 2 horchata with coco and 1 cucumber chia aguas frescas, they're priced at $5 each with no refills that's a bit much for a 16oz glass which ends up being half of the drink because of the ice that's added there really isn't 16oz. Moving we ordered the chon roll, it wasn't what i expected it had no flavor and the cheese that they added on top it was like plastic. So zero stars for the chon roll i do not recommend it, we also ordered the culichi enchiladas very saucy maybe a bit too much it was more like they drowned them in sauce, that the tortilla and filling doesn't show in the flavor profile at all. The molcajete is the only reason I'm giving this place a star because it was very well portioned,rice and beans were very good and the variety of meats plus salsa brought it all together. Over all i wouldn't recommend this establishment for their "sushi rolls" or enchiladas but for the molcajete and coco horchata i would.

Wife and I came in to try this place out.. It did not disappoint, tucked in way in the back , we found this spot…. Extremely delicious, fresh and nicely proportions. Except the oysters shots had a very very small oyster 🦪… but flavor was super yummy! Definitely will come here for my Mariscos! They had a vast menu and love the draft beer 🍺!
